Lego Week
LEGO Week at Konya Science Center
During LEGO Week, which will be held at Konya Science Center, participants will have the opportunity to turn their imagination into reality through fun and educational workshops. Throughout the event, you can test your speed and design skills in the car racing setup, build your own living spaces in the “Design Your Dream House” workshop, and create colorful designs through the “Little Friends” and “Flower Garden” activities.
You can also take on missions in various themed LEGO play areas, such as Sea Patrols. Free LEGO play areas designed for different age groups will also be available for visitors throughout the event.
LEGO Week aims to offer a fun and educational experience while helping participants improve their design, production, and problem-solving skills.
Fee: Admission is paid: children/students 30 ₺, adults 40 ₺. Workshops are free of charge.

Workshops
1. Badge Design Workshop
Location: Konya Science Center — Kartallı Area
Age: 6+
Description: In this workshop, participants are encouraged to design their own unique symbols by thinking through LEGO shapes. Visitors explore basic design principles such as color harmony, symmetry, and part integrity, and create original badges that reflect their imagination.
2. LEGO Car Racing Workshop
Location: Konya Science Center — Kartallı Area
Age: 8+
Description: This is an engineering workshop where participants experience the concepts of balance, friction, and speed through hands-on practice. After designing and building their own racing vehicles with LEGO pieces, visitors test their cars on specially prepared ramps and tracks.
3. Little Friends Workshop
Location: Konya Science Center — Kartallı Area
Age: 4+
Description: This workshop aims to increase early childhood participants’ awareness of nature and the animal world through LEGO pieces. Participants design cute animal figures, habitats, and natural elements, and are introduced to three-dimensional thinking skills.
4. Flower Garden Workshop
Location: Konya Science Center — Kartallı Area
Age: 7+
Description: This colorful workshop allows participants to explore botanical concepts and geometric patterns in nature through LEGO architecture. Visitors model different plant species, flower structures, and leaf forms with LEGO bricks, contributing to the creation of a collective LEGO garden.
5. Design Your Dream House Workshop
Location: Konya Science Center — Kartallı Area
Age: 8+
Description: In this workshop, participants are introduced to basic concepts of architecture and structural engineering as they build their own living spaces. Using LEGO pieces, they develop house models while considering elements such as scaling, durability, interior design, and eco-friendly architecture.
6. Code Your Truck Workshop
Location: Konya Science Center — Kartallı Area
Age: 4+
Description: Bringing mechanical production together with basic algorithmic and directional logic at preschool level, this workshop allows participants to build their own trucks using large LEGO Duplo sets.
7. Space Adventure Workshop
Location: Konya Science Center — Kartallı Area
Age: 5+
Description: In this themed workshop that takes participants into the depths of the universe, space rockets, exploration vehicles — rovers — astronaut figures, and space stations are modeled with LEGO pieces. The workshop aims to transform curiosity about astronomy and space technologies into a concrete, educational, and enjoyable experience through modeling.
8. Sea Patrols Workshop
Location: Konya Science Center — Kartallı Area
Age: 5+
Description: This is a story-based search and rescue workshop where children race against time to rescue lost pets in a water park. They enter an area filled with LEGO pieces and search for the missing animal figures to rescue them. The workshop aims to develop children’s focus, visual attention, and fine motor skills within a limited time.
